Accessibility statement
Die Jausenmacher GmbH wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people with disabilities. This statement (German: Barrierefreiheitserklärung) explains how accessible the site is and how to reach us if you run into a barrier.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the recognised international standard for accessible websites. The site was built and reviewed with that standard in mind: text contrast, keyboard operation with visible focus, a skip link, text descriptions for every photo, and motion that stops when your device asks for reduced motion.
Known limitations
- The weekly lunch menus and the monthly specials are text on the page. When they are updated from a newly uploaded document, a dish name may occasionally be transferred imperfectly; tell us and we will correct it.
- Links to Facebook, Instagram, Google reviews and Google Maps lead to third-party services whose accessibility we cannot influence.
- If you hit a barrier we haven't caught, please tell us (below). We treat it as a bug to fix.
Online booking and ordering
This website currently offers no online booking or ordering; orders are placed by email or phone. If consumer e-commerce functions such as these are added later, the formal requirements of the Austrian Accessibility Act (Barrierefreiheitsgesetz, BaFG) must be reviewed, including a compliance status, feedback and enforcement information. Microenterprises with fewer than 10 employees and an annual turnover of at most 2 million euros are exempt.
Report a barrier
If you find a barrier on this site, or need something here in a different format, please tell us. We'll help, and we'll fix what we can. Email office@jausenmacher.at or use our contact form. We aim to reply within a few working days.
